About the Author



Lisa Cushenberry received admittance into the Institute of Children’s Literature after entering her short story “Thailand Pansy,” which was based on her family’s vacation to the Chang Rai Elephant Camp in Thailand. Lisa currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter. She is a part-time bail interviewer for the First Judicial District of Philadelphia.
